As the COVID-19 pandemic escalates in Australia, government, the banking sector, charities and other segments of the community are putting measures together to protect the Australian economy and individual Australians. New announcements are being made daily and keeping up with the changes can be difficult while you are still trying to provide your core services and manage with limited resources. Not for profits have been required to pivot into new ways of service delivery and working from home arrangements, fast tracking transitions that would usually take weeks if not months to implement. Keeping your organisation and your staff afloat financially may also be a challenge, and there is an increased risk associated with having tomake quick decisions in a constantly evolving regulatory environment.
In this section of our website we are endeavouring to keep you up to date with the assistance available. If you are aware of any measures or help we have not included, that might be useful to others, please let us know. We will either incorporate it into our COVID-19 Resources page or publish it in our Community News. We would also like to extend our best wishes to you and your organisation at this time. Stay safe, stay well and if we can be of any assistance please contact us.

The Federal Government has announced a number of measures to support individuals, businesses and not for profit organisations economically through the COVID-19 crisis. The measures include the Cash Flow Boost, the extension of the JobSeeker program and the introduction of JobKeeper payments. State Governments are also providing assistance in their jurisdictions includingoffering extensions for payroll tax payments and community grants.
We are updating this information regularly as new measures are announced.
The impact of COVID-19 is expected to go well beyond the virus itself. Ways of working differently, living differently and communicating differently will become the ‘new normal’. Beside the economic support provided by governments there is also help available to manage your physical and mental well-being, transition to new working from home arrangements and successfully integrate new technologies into your workplace. We have collated some of these resources for you. If you come across anythingyou think would be useful to others please let us know.
